About this base
The Skin Base Unit uses a transparent polyurethane base as thin as 0.03mm, with V-looped hair so there are no knots at all. It lies completely flat with no visible edge, cleans easily and gives the most undetectable result of any base we offer. The honest trade-off is airflow: solid skin does not breathe, so it traps heat and moisture against the scalp. Most clients rotate two units and choose a slightly thicker 0.06–0.08mm skin if they want longer life over maximum realism.
